Epicurious

In the mood for steak? Well, if you happen to be in Aspen, I suggest going to Jimmy's and having their bone-in Kobe Ribeye. Cooked to perfection and topped with crispy fried onions; what could've made it better? Maybe a side of thick cut bacon. And yes, it is bigger than my head!

On this night, my friend and I sat in the bar. To get the full (and much better) service, head to the dining room. The staff is much more attentive and ready to serve. A sommelier is even on hand to direct you to the best wine and food pairings.

Another item not to pass up is the Porterhouse for two. It's a great way to try a house specialty and watch your wallet as well. The nice things about sharing a Porterhouse are 1. you get both the strip and the filet cut; and 2. the chefs slice it up for you. You've heard of "Lazy man Lobster"? Well this is "Lazy man Steak". What's the big deal you ask? It's not that I can't cut up my own steak, but the chefs do know how to slice it up perfectly. So perfectly, that a friend passing on by couldn't resist using his fingers to steal a piece of the supple, succulent, slice of steak! Talk about finger-licking good.
